A Wendy’s worker accused of punching a 67-year-old man for complaining about his food faces a murder charge after the customer later died, Arizona police told news outlets.
Antoine Kendrick, 35, was charged with second-degree murder after the man died, KNXV reported. He had originally been accused of aggravated assault.

The clash took place at a Wendy’s restaurant in Prescott Valley at 4:41 p.m. July 26, McClatchy News reported.
After the 67-year-old customer complained about his food, Kendrick came around the counter and punched him in the head, police said. The man fell to the floor, striking his head.
He was hospitalized in critical condition, McClatchy News reported.
The man died Friday, Aug. 5, KSAZ reported.
Prescott Valley is a town of 47,000 people about 90 miles north of Phoenix.
