Update: The 73-year-old woman reported missing from Woree has been located safe and well.
Earlier: Police are appealing for urgent public assistance to help locate a 73-year-old woman reported missing at Woree in Cairns yesterday (July 19).
She at a Maina Street address at approximately 8.30am, and it is believed she left the residence sometime prior to 3pm.
Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare as her behaviour is out of character.
Police appeal to anyone with information regarding her whereabouts, to urgently contact police.
