Fatal crash, Miriam Vale

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash at Mount Tom this morning.

Initial investigations indicate just before 7.30am, a utility was travelling along Fingerboard Road near Hallorans Road when left the roadway and rolled.

The 82-year-old male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have been travelling in the vicinity at the time and has dashcam vision or witnessed the crash to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
