Donald Bredenberg, a former Jacksonville Arkansas Police Officer who was once assigned as a Dare Officer teaching school aged children to stay away from drugs was himself arrested in a drug raid in Cabot, Arkansas. Approximately 26 baggies of methamphetamine was reportedly found along with several weapons and about 1,350.00 in cold cash was found inside the residence. Bredenberg along with four others were arrested for numerous felony charges. The Lonoke County Sheriff, John Staley, had once worked with Bredenberg and was shocked to see one of his own had turned to a life of crime. Sheriff Staley, said it could only have been the devil himself who cause the demise of Bredenberg. We certainly hope Bredenberg, if guilty, gets the much needed help a person would need in his situation and gets on the right track in life.
It doesn’t appear Bredenberg was actually in actual constructive possession of any of the methamphetamine, however, it was located in the house he rented. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sheriff, John Staley, he had to do what he had to do.
